Palm Beach driveways are steep, long, and usually the first thing anyone sees. Most are exposed aggregate or plain concrete, and the failure pattern is consistent: black algae down the shaded side where the retaining wall or bushland blocks morning sun, oil and tyre marking at the top near the garage, and a general oxidised grey across the middle that people assume is just the colour it’s gone.

Surface cleaner across the full width so there’s no wand striping, algae treated chemically before cleaning so it doesn’t reappear in a month, oil and rubber spots pre-treated separately, and edges and steps cut in by hand where the machine won’t reach. Aggregate is cleaned at pressure the exposed stone can carry — too much and you lose the matrix around the pebbles.

On these gradients runoff goes somewhere, and on this street that’s usually bushland or straight down to the sand. We contain and direct it rather than letting it run.

If you want the driveway sealed afterwards, that’s a separate conversation and it needs the concrete properly dry first — usually days, not hours.
