Paddington roofs are slate or corrugated iron, not concrete tile, and they behave completely differently. Slate is laid in thin overlapping courses fixed with nails that are often a century old, and walking it wrongly cracks slates that then have to be individually replaced. Iron roofs behind parapets hold moisture along the laps and rust from the underside first, where nobody sees it.

What’s included

Moss, lichen and black growth removed by soft wash at low pressure so the slate surface and the iron’s protective coating are left intact. Valleys and box gutters cleared of the debris that comes down with it. Slipped or cracked slates, rusted sheeting, failed lead flashing and deteriorated parapet capping photographed and reported so you know what is coming before it leaks.
