Driveway & Concrete Cleaning
Driveway cleaning Sydney: oil, rust, tannin and black algae treated with targeted chemistry, then surface-cleaned evenly — runoff controlled on sloped Eastern Suburbs blocks. Fixed quotes.
A driveway is the largest single surface most visitors see, and it ages faster than anything else on the property. Tyre rubber, brake dust, engine drips, leaf tannin and black algae build into a uniform grey film so gradually that most owners genuinely don’t notice until the job is done and they can compare.
Surfaces we clean
Plain and coloured concrete, exposed aggregate, stencilled and stamped concrete, brick and concrete pavers, bluestone, cobblestone, garage floors, carparks and shared strata driveways.
Stains that need more than pressure
High pressure removes the general film, but the marks people actually care about need targeted treatment:
- Oil and transmission fluid — degreaser and dwell time to draw hydrocarbons out of the pores
- Rust from irrigation, garden furniture and reinforcement — an acid-based treatment, carefully neutralised
- Black algae — a biocide, so it’s killed rather than temporarily stripped
- Leaf and tannin staining — common under the fig and jacaranda canopy through Woollahra, Queens Park and Centennial Park
Runoff matters on a sloped block
Most Eastern Suburbs driveways fall steeply toward the street or down to a basement garage. Cleaning slurry has to go somewhere, and on a badly managed job it goes into the garage, the pool, or a neighbour’s property. We control the fall, contain the wash and rinse the surrounds down before we finish.
We also handle strata and shared driveways, and can work outside peak hours where access is tight.
