Roof Cleaning Randwick | Terracotta & Concrete Tile, Soft Washed

Randwick roofs are mostly terracotta and concrete tile, and under the fig and paperbark canopy through the older streets they hold moss and lichen badly. The southern slopes go first because they never dry, and on a Federation roof the growth works into the laps and lifts tiles that were sitting flat.

What’s included

Moss, lichen and black algae treated and removed by soft wash at low pressure. We do not pressure wash tile — it strips the glaze off terracotta, drives water under the laps into the roof cavity, and leaves the root structure behind so regrowth is faster than before. Valleys and gutters cleared of the debris that comes down with it, and cracked or slipped tiles and failed ridge capping photographed and reported.
