How we clean it, and how we protect everything around it

We work from the top floor down so each balcony is cleaned before the one below. Tiles and grout are cleaned with a controlled low-pressure rinse and a floor tool rather than an open lance, so water goes to the drain rather than over the edge. Glass is cleaned with pure water and the base channel is flushed. Soffits are soft washed where accessible. Drains are checked and cleared, because a blocked balcony drain is the most common cause of water entering the apartment below.
