Penetrating sealers protect without changing the look. Acrylic gives a wet look and colour lift. Polyurethane is hardest for garages. We recommend after seeing the surface.

Q: How long does concrete sealing last?

Penetrating sealers five to ten years, acrylic two to four years, polyurethane five to eight years, depending on sun and traffic.

Q: Will the sealer make the pool deck slippery?

No. We add a slip-resistant aggregate to sealers on pool surrounds and steps.

Q: Can you seal straight after cleaning?

No. Concrete must dry for 24 to 48 hours. We clean first and return to seal.

How we clean it, and how we protect everything around it

Concrete is cleaned, allowed to dry to below 5 percent moisture and tested. Penetrating silane-siloxane sealers are sprayed and back-rolled; acrylic and polyurethane sealers are rolled in two thin coats with a slip additive where required around pools. The surface is closed to traffic for 24 hours.
