Brick is cleaned in two stages. Biological growth gets a sodium hypochlorite soft wash with a surfactant so it clings and dwells, then a low-pressure rinse. Mineral soiling, efflorescence and carbon are treated with a buffered alkaline or mild acidic cleaner matched to a test patch, always neutralised afterwards. Pressure stays under 1,000 psi at the wall and we never direct the lance into mortar joints. Painted brick is soft washed only.
